Whiskey-Amaretto Sour
Skip prepared sour mixes with unnatural ingredients- instead stir together a simple Honey Syrup with fresh lemon juice. You can keep the Honey syrup in the fridge for a week.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Ounces (3 tablespoons) amaretto liqueur
- 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) whisky or burbon
- 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) honey syrup
- 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh lemon juice
- Garnishes: maraschino cherry, lemon slice or peel
Instructions:
- Combine amaretto, whiskey, honey syrup, and lemon juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously and strain into an ice filled glass
- Garnish if desired
